Design Update: Fit sample and sizing

We're nearly at the end of our Indiegogo Campaign and we couldn't be more excited. With just 5 days to go we are just $1K shy of our $10K goal. There are a lot of women out there who have pre-ordered their pants which shows us there really is a need for a better fitting snow pant solution for all the female skiers and snowboarders of the world.

We've been busy in the back end too! Meetings with our designer have gone well, where we've sat on the floor in piles of fabric samples and measuring tapes, pinning random bits and pieces to pre-existing pants and coming up with the solutions that will make our snow pants fit every shape and size.

One of the biggest first steps in the process is that our preliminary design has been sent off to our manufacturer to create our first fit sample - this means that in a few weeks we will have the first stage of a snow pant prototype in our hands ready to tweak further and start fine-tuning. It's exciting - we've added in lots of pockets like you've asked for, the waist is fully adjustable with some amazing stretch in the fabric and, the back of the waist is high rise, and, we've put in a gusset in the crotch to overcome the ripped crotch scenario! 

 

Something else that we're happy to announce, is that due to popular demand and women reaching out to us from around the world, we are going to be extending the size range up to a Size AU22/US18!

Snow pants in a AU Size 20 and AU Size 22, US Size 16 and US Size 18!

We hate the phrasing, but for all you women who constantly search for "plus size ski pants, plus size snowboarding pants, fat girl ski pants, fat girl snowboard pants", look no further! We are including larger sizes for snowboarding, ski and snow pants! Tell your friends!

Something we really need to get this right is to get more sizing samples. We know that being comfortable on the snow is important, and we want our pants to be able to fit women of all shapes and sizes, as no one should be denied the ability to feel confident doing something they love.
