As we embrace the vibrant colours of Pride Month, it's a time to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and their invaluable contributions to our society. At Nobody's Princess, we believe in fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcomed and empowered to be their authentic selves.

Our snow-capped mountains and pristine slopes have long been a playground for adventure seekers, but they should also be a sanctuary where individuals can freely express their identities without fear or judgment. We are committed to contributing towards the snow being a safe and inclusive space for all, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.

(And, it may or may not be a coincidence that our range also lines up with the colours that proudly represent LGBTQI+ peoples...)

Get Ready to Slay the Slopes: Rainbow Mountain is Back in Thredbo!

Thredbo's Rainbow Mountain is calling all LGBTQIA+ friends and allies to the slopes in 2024 for a winter celebration like no other! This three-day extravaganza is packed with events for everyone, from thrilling mountain adventures to dazzling drag shows. Join us as we embrace inclusivity, visibility, and the joy of community in a truly magical winter wonderland. Be sure to catch the iconic drag show featuring Poof Doof Ski Club and Girl Thing DJs, turning up the volume at the Alpine Bar on Saturday night!

Ski-in and ski-out with pride! Australia's LGBTQ+ ski week is back in 2024 at Falls Creek!

Imagine: ten days of winter wonderland bliss, followed by nine nights of entertainment that's both enchanting and ever-so-slightly wicked. With the Pride Hub based at PowderKeg, it's going to be the perfect spot to mingle, make new friends, and dive into a whirlwind of fun events. Think bingo, trivia, queer film nights, impromptu dance parties, and all sorts of late-night shenanigans.

The grand daddy of pride events: Winter Pride!

If we could describe the line up for Winter Pride this year, it would be looking at a sequin jacket that's been dipped in glitter, held under an array of laser lights - just briiiiillllliiiaaant! 11 days of events lined up across Cardrona, Treble Cone, Coronet Peak, and The Remarkables, in a truly accepting and supportive community. From dancing the night away to exploring the stunning alpine landscape, this festival is the perfect place to be yourself and connect with others.

Not for the faint hearted, as this is THE BIGGEST pride festival in the Southern Hemisphere, so you can expect a jam-packed week of excitement! With a wide array of activities, from thrilling mountain adventures to captivating shows and creative workshops, Winter Pride also proudly gives back to the community through their series of events supporting local youth and charities.

Events for the Northern Hemisphere to keep on your radar:

• Aspen, Colorado: Aspen Gay Ski Week is a renowned event that brings together LGBTQ+ skiers and snowboarders for a week of on-mountain activities, après-ski parties, and social gatherings.

• Park City, Utah: Park City is known for its LGBTQ+ friendly atmosphere, with several accommodations and events catering to the community, including the annual Elevation Utah Pride Festival.

• Stowe, Vermont: Stowe is home to the Stowe Pride Festival, a celebration of LGBTQ+ pride that includes skiing, snowboarding, and various social events.

• Whistler, British Columbia: Whistler Pride and Ski Festival is a popular annual event that combines skiing, snowboarding, and LGBTQ+ celebrations, attracting visitors from around the world.

But my goodness! What do I wear!?

Of course, we're all about bright and fun! We would always encourage you to wear, above all, comfortable ski and snowboard gear, so you can concentrate on having the most fun possible, and not worry about being uncomfortable, having to re-adjust, or being cold.

And if you're up to it - wear rainbow-colored ski/snowboard gear, accessories, and Pride-themed outfits while hitting the slopes. 

Imagine a dazzling conga-ski-line gracefully sashaying down the runs, leaving a rainbow trail of happiness as it passes by.... reds, pinks, blues, greens, oranges, and purples! Or, even some amazing iridescent-rainbow bibs and jackets to really stand out! WARM AND DAZZLING!
