W22 Zali - Snowboard & Ski Pants

I wear a size 14 in "normal" clothes, but for years I've been forced into XL/XXL men's pants that don't fit anywhere except my hips. No longer! I bought a pair of these pants in the Kickstarter, and the next season I felt more comfortable on the snow than in the previous 20 years of skiing. They just fit. EVERYWHERE.

I've recommended these pants to several friends since, and bought more myself, and everybody loves them. A friend and I even took them to Antarctica last year, and we were definitely the warmest (and best-dressed!) on the trip :D

I’ve had my snowpants for a few months now, but waited a while to write this review because I wanted to see how the snow pants performed, not just rating them on the fit. These are hands down the BEST snow pants I have ever owned by far. I worked in a ski shop for five years, and before finding these, tried on pants from every large brand available in Canada. I’ve skied multiple resorts in the Canadian Rocky Mountains this winter, in everything from +5 Celsius and slushy rain to -30 Celsius plus a windchill. These pants have it all: stretch, stretch, and more stretch, warmth in all the right places (no cold bottom on the lift), but never too hot, tons of adjustment options in the waist, no gap to let snow and freezing cold air in down the back of your waist, and great waterproofing and breathability. They have room for strong thighs and a booty, but aren’t baggy and still fit in the waist, and the different lengths available means that the hem doesn’t drag on the ground. They aren’t bulky, and the outer material has a nice weight and feel to it. If you’re looking for the unicorn of women’s snow pants, this is it! I was a little skeptical about ordering snow pants from the other side of the globe, but it was definitely worth it! I made sure to take all my measurements, and e-mailed to confirm sizing, and they were super helpful with fit and sizing too.

I love these pants so much, so comfortable, I can cinch the waist easily to fit with tonnes of room in the thighs and butt area. The one downfall I have is that the zip randomly comes undone (not all the time, but sometimes) so I have to be weary of that. But honestly, out of every pair of ski pants I have tried (well into the 200’s) and owned these are by far the best pants ever!! Absolutely love my new ski pants. So bloody thrilled. No more anxiety with the thought of tight fitting uncomfortable pants with a size needed that leaves you depressed. They are exactly what they say. True to size, comfortable, stretchy, don't dig in at the waist, doesn't hang and show my bum crack when I bend over, adjustable and just bloody awesome.
The sizing guide was spot on. Love that they are high in the waste. They are so warm.

This is my 2nd pair of Nobodys Princess Pants (I grew out of my first) and I have done everything in them - I've backcountry splitboarded, snowkited and have spent many days resort riding - and I am just so so happy with them. They are the best fitting pants on the market for big squatting thighs and butt and smaller waist. Obsessed, and beyond happy!

I’m a 5’2” 105kg curvy girl, who ordered a size 22 Mila Snow Pant - Short - which were a bit tight around the tummy, I contacted the NP team who helped me exchange the pants for a size 24. The pants were the perfect leg length and actually had room around the upper thigh - other pants have been tight in this area. The Mila Pants have heaps of pockets and the waist loosens up a little once you wear them, it’s great having the little hidden tabs inside the waist band to tighten it in all the right areas if needed. Definitely worth it and I can’t wait to wear them to the snow in July 2023.

I was one of the lucky customers who got involved in the start up campaign. I absolutely LOVE these pants ... so many adjustable components and pockets that make them easily adapted for boarding or skiing. Skied a lot of very wet and windy days in Victoria in September last year and the Zali pants kept me dry and warm every time. You won't regret spending the money on these!

I absolutely love my Zali pants. They are the most comfortable ski pants I’ve ever owned. The adjustable waist means there’s no gape round the back. I love the extra padding on the bum to help with those freezing chairlifts. And the pockets are fabulous! So many of them, it’s amazing! I’m never wearing a different brand of ski pants ever again.

I reached out to Nobody's Princess on Instagram to help me with sizing, but I was still skeptical. When I received my order, it took me a few days to open the package and try it on. I was just so worried that even after all of their help, this still wouldn't work for me. As soon as I buttoned the pants, I had tears in my eyes. In recent years, I've switched to just buying bibs that are 3 or 4 sizes too big in the body so that they fit in my butt and thighs. I have never had ski pants that fit me everywhere, and these are perfect. Thank you!
